I spent last night with a fan blowing directly on me in an attempt to keep cool. It's been hot an humid in Muskegon. Phew. Great beach weather. Lousy sleeping weather. And no, we don't have AC to speak of.
Detroit's had it even worse. Last July was the hottest ever recorded for Detroit in the 134 years people have been keeping track. It was also the second wettest.
Muskegon, Michigan, reached record numbers last year in 2010. Last summer in Muskegon matched the 1919 and 2005 for hottest years in 115 years.
